METHOD FOR SURGICAL MANAGEMENT OF PTERYGIUM

FIELD: medicine, particularly, ophthalmosurgery. SUBSTANCE: method consists in cutting out of donor cornea, removal of pterygium and suturing the graft of donor cornea. First, cut out is graft 0.8 to 1.2 mm wide of donor cornea and 0.2 to 0.4 mm thick, then pterygium is removed and bed is formed in limbic zone in cornea tissue of patient with sizes corresponding to donor graft, and graft is placed to it and sutured. EFFECT: prevented recurrences.
