METHOD OF TREATING CHRONIC DISEASES OF LIVER BEARING HB_sAg WITH LOW- INTENSITY HELIUM-NEON LASER IRRADIATION OF BLOOD

FIELD: liver diseases; physiotherapeutic methods. SUBSTANCE: invention is aimed at developing treatment procedure enhancing therapeutic efficiency by way of removing HB_sAg from organism. The aim is achieved when, in known method of treatment involving low-intensity helium-neon laser irradiation of blood, preliminary course of gluco-corticosteroid therapy is administered using 60 mg of prednisolone intravenously daily for 9-11 days, whereupon 3-5 interventions of plasmaphoresis is performed with one-time sampling of 500-600 ml of plasma with 3-day intermissions. Plasmaphoresis is accompanied with irradiation of blood by helium-neon laser with emission power 1.6 x 10^-3 W, irradiation density 12.8 mW, and irradiation time 40-45 min. Simultaneously, in the beginning of plasmaphoresis procedure, right and left lobes of liver, spleen, and thymus are subjected to external irradiation by helium-neon laser for 9-11 days using the same density and power of irradiation as above. This irradiation is supplemented with introducing immunomoduling medicines (thymalin, T-activin) intra-muscularly in dose 10 mg daily during 9-11 days. EFFECT: enhanced therapeutical efficiency.
