FIELD: technical physics, study of two-phase flows, measurement of concentration of phases of two-phase flows under static and dynamic conditions while two-phase flow passes through steam-generating ducts, ducts of nuclear power plants. SUBSTANCE: temperature of flow and frequency of change of phases are measured in addition to present values of time of presence of steam and liquid phases. Mode of flow is found and two times of averaging are calculated from which minimal one is chosen. Then concentration of phases for dynamic process for definite value of time is found. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of determination of concentration of phases thanks to optimization of time of measurement of parameters of dynamic process.
