METHOD OF SYNTHESIS OF 2-IMINO-4-ALKYL(ARYL)THIO-5,5-DIALKYL-2,5-DIHYDROFURAN SALTS

FIELD: organic chemistry, heterocyclic compounds. SUBSTANCE: product: salts of 2-imino-4-alkyl(aryl)thio-5,5-dialkyl-2,5-dihydrofurans of the formula $$$ where: $$$4 - methyl or ethyl; $$$ - ethyl, isopropyl, butyl, hydroxyethyl or phenyl; X - $$$ or $$$. Synthesis is carried out from the corresponding 3-hydroxy-3-methyl-2-alkyl(aryl)thio-1-alkenocarbonitrile, HCl and $$$ at molar ratio of reagents = 1:(2-20). Preferably process is carried out in ethanol medium at 20-50 C for a single stage. Yield is 87-96%. Synthesized compounds were used for synthesis of biologically active substances and as inhibitors at electrotechnic steel etching in hydrochloric acid.
