The measuring system includes a container (1) filled with liquid in which a detector is immersed which is movable only in one direction via a drive unit (8). The container is closed by a cover lid (2) covering the container, the lid being essentially vertical to the direction of the incident radiation and to the movement direction of the detector (5). The lid has a region (2A) for the entry of the incident radiation, the radiation absorption of which is smaller than that of the lid. The lid has a cut out for the reception of a shaft (7) connected with the drive unit. The lid has a cut out for the reception of a drive unit connected with the shaft and/or a cut out for the reception of a displacement pick up (9) connected with the shaft.
