The roller stand (1) includes two roller pairs (5,5'), which are arranged coaxially and at a distance from each other. The roller pairs rotate in a frame. The rollers of this pair are coupled to each other and to an electric brake (7), which is connected with a force absorber. One roller of each pair is connected with a speedometer. The rollers (6,6') of the second pair are also coupled with each other and with a second electric brake (8), which is connected with a second force absorber. The two brakes are switched and/or controlled independently of each other.
