The multi-sorter(10) has a suspension device(16) with an annular slot(30) open at the top and running more or less horizontally, and in which the containers(12) can individually hang by means of a hook(18) on each. A support face(50) spaced vertically from the slot is provided on the suspension device for a lower end area(48) of the container. The slot widens out radially at the top, and one radially outer side(32) of the slot is inclined outwards. The support face is annular and concentric to the slot, and the hook is fastened on the upper end of the rear side.
