Loose stone compression characteristics measuring method for soil mechanics laboratory

摘要

The method uses a number of compression tests effected for different initial pore components with a constant water content, with measurement of the pore component and loading value pairs, for determining the compaction of a loose stone layer in response to the compression force. Alternatively a different physical parameter may be measured in place of the pore component, for indicating the layer compaction level.
