Diagnosis of squamous epithelial cell carcinoma

摘要

Diagnosis of squamous epithelial carcinoma (SEC) comprises detecting expression of the variable exon v6 of the CD44 gene. Also new is use of antibodies (Ab) that specifically recognise an epitope in v6 for diagnosis and treatment of SEC.
