Round bale-unwinding machine for straw and other materials

Round bales of straw, hay, silage etc. are unrolled for use with a machine in which a horizontal conveyor belt (5) is located in a base frame (1) and a driven roll (8) is provided above each end of the belt, transverse to the running direction of the belt. The length of the rolls corresponds to the width of the belt. Preferably the width of the belt is 1.2 m and the axial spacing of the belt drive roller (4) and the deflection roller (4) is 1.3 m. The internal width of the machine is preferably 1.3 m and the belt moves at a speed of 10 m/min. The upper rolls are preferably 180 mm diameter and are driven by the belt drive motor.
