Preparation of concentrated plant extract, particularly from Harpagophytum procumbens

Preparation of a highly concentrated plant extract (in particular from devil's claw or Harpagophytum procumbens) comprises: (a) stirring an aqueous crude extract with a non-ionic adsorbent resin; (b) treating the adsorbed extract with 1-3C alcohol or a similar physiological safe solvent; and (c) concentrating the resulting solution.
