Transit time oscillator with series-connected FM demodulator - can be actuated into oscillations at 0.5 wavelength or 1.5 wavelength

The transit time oscillator has a series-connected FM demodulator for stereo radio receivers and other FM receivers. The oscillator operates at a frequency of 21.7 MHz. The 3rd and 4th harmonics are outside the USW reception frequency (86.8 and 108.5 MHz) and do not interfere with the receiver. The transit oscillator can be synchronised within certain limits, due to the wide band characteristic and the cut-off rate. The period of the 21.7 MHz amplitude is 46,083 ns and the oscillator can be actuated into oscillations at 0.5 or 1.5 times the wavelength (180 or 540 deg. of phase shift).
