The ultrasonic flowmeter is provided with US converters for transmitting and receiving signals, which pass through a measuring chamber. Each converter (2) is galvanically decoupled from an electronic control and evaluation unit, using a transformer (3). The transformers (3), in their physical or electronic characteristics, are designed to be identical. The transformers at the electronic control and evaluation unit are terminated with identical resistances.
