The control and management of the spark erosion machine tool is based upon a listing of actions and operations that are entered into the system memory areas. The machine is computer programmable and allows one or more workpieces to be controlled. The program uses model data for standardised processing operations. The model data includes fixed and variable control data, machining geometry, machining motion data and technological parameters, such as surface finish.
