The novel swash plate pump with axial pistons, comprises a casing with a rotary shaft carrying a co-rotating and sliding cylinder block. Each of the cylinders in the cylinder block holds a reciprocating piston, these cylinders surrounding the shaft. Reciprocation is caused by the canted swash plate provided, when the shaft is driven. Many components of this pump include sliding surfaces, one or more of which are coated by nickel-phosphor-teflon.
