Fluid administration apparatus for a patient to self-administer doses of medication

A fluid administration apparatus has a container (1) with two chambers (18, 19) separated from one another by a displaceable wall (16). One chamber is adapted for containing a medication liquid and has an outlet connectable to a region of the patient. The other chamber is air-filled and has an inlet coupled to the outlet of a manually-actuable air pump (40). The pump has an air inlet with a restrictor to limit flow of air into the pump such that when the pump is actuated, it supplies air to the chamber and displaces the wall which drives liquid out of the outlet of the liquid chamber to the region of the patient.
