The switch has a housing (1) contg. two contact elements (3,4), an electrically conducting ball (5) moving in a bore (9) in the housing, which can come into contact with both contact elements, an elastic element (6) which presses the ball against the contact elements and a pin element (2) which is guided and which removes the ball from the contact elements against the force of the elastic element. Guide devices (8,12) allow the pin element to only move along its axial direction and prevent its movement perpendicular to this direction and to the line connecting the contact points (10,11) of the two contact elements and the ball.
