A lifting roof for closing a roof opening (12) formed in a vehicle body roof portion is liftably mounted to the vehicle body roof portion, and a roof bed (21) is disposed on the vehicle body roof portion so as to cover the roof opening. A hatch (38) communicating with the roof opening is formed in the roof bed so as to allow occupants to go up and come down therethrough to/from the roof bed from/to the inside of the compartment, and a closing lid (39) for closing the hatch is mounted. In addition to the hatch, a communicating hole (66) communicating with the roof opening is formed in the roof bed for communication and transfer of small goods between the compartment and the roof bed. The communicating hole (66) is located at the portion of the roof bed closer to a rotation free end of the lifting roof. In addition, a lid (68) for closing the communicating hole is provided. This allows communication and transfer of small goods between the compartment and the roof bed, thus increasing the ease of use.
