The method involves realizing a preassembled roof assembly (ET) comprising a roof (TT), where a console is mounted on an inner surface (F1) of a periphery edge of the roof. Glue is deposited on the inner surface of the periphery edge of the roof. The roof assembly on a reception zone (ZA) of an upper part (PS) of a structure (SV) of a vehicle is plated with the inner surface of the roof oriented towards inside of the vehicle. The roof is integrated to the upper part of the structure of the vehicle using a screw assembly.
