A piece of sheet metal used as a mounting for the shutter on domestic apparatus like a cooler or refrigerator has at least one strengthen corner for the attachment of a door pivot and/or a froth barrier. There is a compartment(14) for a part of the electronics controlling the apparatus. This compartment has a thermally conducting plate (16) bringing heat into the compartment. A plastic lid is plugged together with the sheet metal. It has at least one cable channel and a compartment for another part of the controlling electronics. This too has a heat conducting plate.
