The spreading device has a control unit (32) which produces torque pulses upon a driving torque corresponding to a speed proportional base RPM of the motorised drive (11). The parts (7,13) driven by the motorised drive are set in a rotational movement imposed by pulse-form rotational oscillations. The drive is a hydraulic motor and is pressurised with oil through a hydraulic line by means of a hydraulic pump (33). To control the driving RPM, an electromagnetically piloted proportional control valve (12) is provided in the hydraulic line.
