The film or TV camera (1) is attached to a handgrip (2) that projects from a linkage (3) allowing the angle to be adjusted. A main telescopic support system is provided by three tubes (6a, 6b, 6c) that allow the vertical height to be adjusted. Locking pins (7) secure the assembly. The lower tube provides support for pivot mounted carriers (9) of counter weights (8) such that the centre of gravity of the unit is low to provide stability for the camera.
