The invention relates to a maize-harvesting appliance for chopper forage harvesters, with at least six conveying channels (5, 5', 5'', 5''', 18, 18'), of which outer conveying channels (18, 18') can be swung up for transport purposes. To make even widely spread conveying channels (18, 18') swingable, according to the invention these are fastened to auxiliary frames (16) which are displaceable forwards and outwards relative to a draw-in trough (1) having stationary conveying channels (5, 5', 5'', 5''') by means of a slide guide (10, 11). The spacing obtained thereby between movable and stationary conveying channels makes it possible to swing the auxiliary frames (16) together with the movable conveying channels (18, 18') into an approximately vertical transport position. This takes place by means of a servomotor (17) having an axis of rotation lying approximately in the direction of travel. IMAGE
