The field of the invention is that of the coding of digital data intended to be transmitted or broadcast, in particular in the presence of strong noise of the transmission, and the decoding of the data coded and transmitted. & br / the invention relates to a process for the error corrector coding of digital data source (d), involving in parallel at least two steps (11, 13) which are independent of systematic convolutional coding, each of said steps (11, 13) of coding, taking into account the assembly of said data source (d), and comprising at least one step (12) of the time interleaving of the said data source (d), which modifies the order in which the data source (d) for each of said steps (11, 13). br / the invention also relates to a process for the iterative decoding, using for the decoding, at each iteration, an intermediate data obtained by a combination of the data received with a given estimated during the preceding iteration.
