The homokinetic transmission consists at the end of a shaft (4) an opened out part (9) defining an inside cavity (10) in which is placed a hub (12) carrying arms (13) which extend radially into radial grooves (15) provided in the peripheral walls (16) surrounding the cavity. Each arm is provided with a roller (17) which slides along these arms and along generated pathways (18) formed on opposite faces the grooves (15). The hub contains a ball joint (25) adapted to pivot freely around the centre of the hub (12). The ball joint (25) carries a link (27) which extends axially towards the closing piece (20). This link is attached to the bottom end in such a way the reactions exerted on this hub (12) are transmitted to the closing piece (20) and is directed in a sense opposed to that of the closing piece (20)
