The modular partition comprises a top beam (4) and a bottom beam (7) in two parts which are able to slide vertically relative to each other to allow installation of a door unit. The door unit comprises an external door frame consisting of two posts (1) and a cross member support (8) which slides vertically on the posts. The door unit has an internal door frame comprising two uprights (14) which slide vertically on the posts and a cross member (12) fixed on the door frame support cross member. The assembly procedure consists of assembling the door frame cross member and the door frame support cross member. The cross member assembly is fitted on the two posts at a height greater than that of the door (11). The two door frame uprights are fitted with the posts. A retractor (17) maintains the base of the uprights.
