The ski (2) has a plate (5), fixed to its upper surface, which holds the bindings to hold the boot. A set of interchangeable plates to stiffen the ski have different characteristics. They are 400-1000 cm. long and have different shapes or different mechanical characteristics. The plate is fixed to the ski, in its sliding zone, by bonding with a thermo-fusible bond all along it. The plate can be bonded to the ski by its end zones and the length of these zones can be variable.
