The picture is made from a ceramic image stuck to a backing surface and framed. The image is initially fashioned from modelling clay, from which a plaster cast is taken. The cast is used to reproduce the image by filling it with the ceramic material in a semi-liquid form and then baking so it hardens.The finished ceramic image is then stuck to a backing layer and framed.
