Pneumatic lubricator for digitally controlled machine tool

The lubricator delivers oil expelled by compressed air from a reservoir into a duct leading to a fixed unit (6) on the frame of the machine tool. Its nozzle (10) is supplied from a tube (7) forced into the unit from below by a spring (9) working against a platform (5) integral with the chuck (1). The platform rests on an outer ring (11) surrounding a ball bearing (4) on a flange (3) fixed to an inner ring (2) on the cylindrical lower part of the chuck. Lowering of the tube releases the forward part of a finger (8) under the platform from a slot in the rim of the flange.
