The refrigerated tank (1) is made from thin metal sheet with a thin metal sheet external jacket (2). Part of the space between the tank and its external jacket is filled with a thermal insulation material (3). Circulation rings (4 - 11) with a U section delimit, with the tank body, sealed annular spaces connected by pipes. The tank has a reservoir of cooling fluid supplying the connecting pipes and the annular spaces. The circulation rings have transverse partitions which block the ring and prevent circulation of the coolant in a closed circuit in the ring. The wall of the ring is drilled either side the partition in the zones connecting to the coolant inlet and outlet pipes.
