A dry organic ameliorator contg. nitrogen and potassium is formed by drying, in a drier at 140-160[deg] C, a mixt. of: 40-70 wt. % wool wash water concentrate contg. 50-7- wt. % matter; 20-40 wt. % natural textile dusts; and 0-25 wt. % potash ashes obtd. by incineration or pyrolysis of wool wash waters. Also claimed is an appts. for prodn. of the ameliorator.
