Fastening strap used as a tourniquet during blood transfusion or blood withdrawal

The strap is composed of an elastic rubbery material (1). During use the bevelled part (2) penetrates into a hole (3). In order to dismantle it, it is sufficient to pull on the tongue (4). The hole diameter is a function of the thickness and width of the strap. The bevelled part is sufficiently tapered to allow easy penetration inside the hole. The tongue end is sufficiently resistant to bear the forces required during fastening and unfastening.
