The subject of the invention is a stopper (1) for a propellant charge case (6), case comprising a cylindrical casing (7) intended to contain a propellant charge and to be introduced into the chamber of a weapon, this stopper is characterized in that it comprises a skirt (3), continuous or formed of several sectors, skirt of diameter greater than that of the casing (6) and that of the chamber and intended to be fixed to the casing (6 ) by connecting means (4), this skirt deforming during the introduction of the case (6) into the chamber (9) of the weapon so as to ensure that the case is held in the chamber.
