The partition (6) is mounted parallel to the external wall (4) and a cavity (9) is formed along the their total length. The cavity forms a pathway along which air can move form the inside of the building to the outside of the building through the holes in the upper sill (11), down through the cavity and out through the holes in the lower sill (1).
