Supplementing words from failed cells

The circuit comprises means 30 for comparing the lines NA00-NA11 of the normal decoding path with the lines RA00-RA11 of the repair path. If lines in the repair path and the normal path with the same address are enabled simultaneously then at least two repair words (from cells 41,42) are issued on the repair word lines in addition to the normal word from failed cell 50 on the normal word line. Repair path lines are enabled by fusing the correct combination of circuits 11, 12, 15.
