BACK REST TYPE PILLOW FOR TURNING-OVER OF PATIENT IN BED

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give no unpleasant feeling and tired feeling on account of oppressive heat to a patient at the time of turning over in bed by providing a core at the inside of a wedge-shaped elastic body resembling to the curved line of a human body extending from the body side to the back thereof. ;SOLUTION: An elastic body 1 having a characteristic to resume its original form when it is loaded with a human body has at its upper slant surface part a wedge-shaped approximate to the curved line of a human body, and at the central part of the inside of the elastic body 1 a hard core made of metal hard to change its shape is mounted in as a core part 2 not exposed on the upper slant surface. The elastic part 1 is covered with a cover 3 made of fiber material having a bag-like shape with a wholly elastic type space part and a moisture absorptive characteristic, and the cover 3 is adapted to be removed. In use, an upper slant surface part is set insertionwise behind the back of human body being in rest and is removed therefrom to attain a desirable position for the posture of human body. When the cover 3 is made dirty, it can be washed after being removed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
