PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high pay load- or long life-satellite by increasing the lowest output power of a fixedly positioned solar battery array used in a satellite orbiting around the earth orbit on an orbit plane and daily and seasonally changing the direction of the satellite to the sun by orbiting the earth around the solar orbit. SOLUTION: Provided are satellite body 60, a blade-shaped solar battery array driving mechanism 62 for rotating the solar battery array developed with a rotary shaft perpendicular to the orbit plane centered to trace the one- day movement of the sun, and a bias mechanism 56 for changing the position of the solar battery array from the rotary shaft by the fixed bias corresponding to a seasonal variation to trace a conical path while rotating with the rotary shaft 32 centered so that the solar battery array 22 may retain the position biased to the sun. The result increases the lowest output power of the solar battery array 22.
