PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cassette feeding type thermal decomposition method for industrial waste and a cassette feeding type thermal decomposition furnace for performing the same in which the industrial waste can be easily carried in and carried out and the industrial waste in a thermal decomposition chamber can be uniformly heated. ;SOLUTION: A cassette feeding type thermal decomposition method for industrial waste is constituted by containing a refilling process in which industrial waste is refilled into a cassette 20 from which a liquid body can flow out outside a thermal decomposition furnace 10, a carry-in process in which the refilled cassette 20 is inserted into a thermal decomposition chamber 11 arranged within an external wall 13 having thermal insulation property so that the cassette 20 can be put in and out to seal the external wall 13 and the thermal decomposition chamber 11, a thermal decomposition process in which the industrial waste is thermally decomposed without oxygen and under reduced pressure in the thermal decomposition chamber 11 by a heating means 17 and a carry-out process in which after the thermal decomposition is finished, the external wall 13 and the thermal decomposition chamber 11 are opened to take out the cassette 20. Furthermore, in the thermal decomposition process, the waste is thermally decomposed while the cassette 20 is rotated in the thermal decomposition chamber 11.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
