LOW-PASS FILTER FOR ULTRA HIGH FREQUENCY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the performance of a filter further by alternately serially connecting plural microstrip lines and suspended substrate lines and forming ground conductors corresponding to the microstrip lines on the lower surface of a dielectric substrate. ;SOLUTION: This filter is provided with the dielectric substrate 41 provided with a prescribed height (h) formed at an intermediate part inside a metal housing 40, two gap parts 42 formed up and down through the dielectric substrate 41, the plural microstrip lines 43A and 43B and the suspended substrate lines 44 alternately serially connected at the upper surface center part of the dielectric substrate 41. On the lower surface of the dielectric substrate 41, the ground conductors 45 provided with a grounding function are formed corresponding to the microstrip lines 43A and 43B. Thus, the range of impedance is extended to the maximum, the performance of the filter is improved and maximum response characteristics are realized near a cut-off frequency.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
