REFERENCE POSITION ALIGNING APPARATUS FOR FLOWER AND ORNAMENTAL PLANT SORTER AND THE LIKE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reference position aligning apparatus which is capable of assuring the permissible range of a set position for flower and ornamental plants, etc., as wide as possible at the time an operator places the flower and ornamental plants, etc., on a supply conveyor of a flower and ornamental plant sorter, etc., and automatically and exactly adjusting the front ends of the flower and ornamental plants, etc., to the reference position without damaging the flower and ornamental plants, etc., even if the deviation of the set position from the reference position is large, thereby making it possible to drastically lessen the attentiveness and labor of the operator and a flower and ornamental plant sorter equipped with such reference aligning apparatus. ;SOLUTION: This apparatus has a flower contact member 20 which is disposed along the transporting surface side of the conveyor, has a fulcrum on the upstream side of the transportation direction and nearer the outer side position than the set reference line 21 and is so supported as to make its downstream side oscillatable and a drive means which oscillates the flower contact member 20 to a planed angle range. The apparatus is so constituted that, when the flower contact member 20 is oscillated to the innermost side of a transporting path, the extreme downstream end thereof exists above the set reference line 21.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
