CATALYST CONTAINING SULFIDE MIXTURE AND ITS APPLICATIONS FOR HYDROFINING/HYDROGENATING CONVERSION OF HYDROCARBONS BY HYDROGENATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new catalyst containing a sulfide mixture and the applications of the catalyst for the hydrofining/hydrogenating conversion of hydrocarbons. ;SOLUTION: This catalyst containing a sulfide mixture contains at least, two different types of element selected from the group of atomic numbers 3, 11, 12, 19-33, 37-51, 55-83 and 87-103. This sulfide mixture is generated from the combination of at least, one type of element with the bonding energy between a metal and sulfur of a sulfide being 503kCal/mol (20912kJ/mol) or less and at least, one type of element with the bonding energy between the metal and the sulphur of the sulfide being 503kCal/mol (20912kJ/mol) or more. In this case, the average bonding energy between the metal and the sulphur of the sulfide mixture is 30-70kCal/mol (125-293kJ/mol).;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
