PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve work efficiency by arranging nursery boxes and mechanically putting them in order without applying any shock to the nursery boxes even when there is a certain degree of smooth ruggedness on a bed by lowering the nursery boxes through the surfaces of elastic bodies onto the bed. ;SOLUTION: Nursery boxes C loaded on a wagon are successively conveyed one by one from the lowest one to a lateral feeding conveyer, a longitudinal feeding conveyer and an inner frame 35 provided with elastic bodies 43 protruded backward at positions corresponding to the respective plural nursery boxes C while putting the nursery boxes C in order and placing them and after the plural nursery boxes C are placed while being put in order, seedling frames are inclined backward so as to ground the top end parts of elastic bodies 43 on the surface of bed. After the nursery boxes C are moved from the lateral feeding conveyer to the longitudinal conveyer and the nursery boxes C are conveyed to the lowest end position where their rear parts are matched with the top end parts of the elastic bodies 43, the inner frames 35 are simultaneously moved forward so that the nursery boxes C are lowered through the surfaces of elastic bodies 43 onto the bed and the nursery boxes C are arranged. In this case, it is preferable that the top ends of the elastic bodies 43 are abutted to the bed while the inner frames 35 are inclined backward and the nursery boxes C are lowered onto the bed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
