PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject yarn capable of being treated under specific conditions to impart a soft and warp touch to a woven fabric by disposing potentially crimping conjugated multifilaments in a core portion and disposing organic sulfonate salt-containing multifilaments in a sheath portion. ;SOLUTION: This potentially fuzzing two-layered structure polyester composite yarn is obtained by (A) disposing polyester conjugated multifilaments capable of expressing crimps in boiling water in a core portion and (B) disposing polyester multifilaments containing an organic sulfonate salt of the formula: R-SO3M (R is a 3-30C alkyl, a 7-40C aryl; M is an alkali metal) in a sheath portion. The obtained two-layered structure composite yarn has a boiling water shrinkage rate of 5-20% and a crimp recovery of ≥80%, and can be subjected to an alkali treatment to express fuzzes (apparent single filament diameter: ≤3μm; length: ≤1mm) on the surface of the yarn.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
