AUTOMATIC RIBBING APPARATUS AND RIBBING USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both an automatic ribbing apparatus capable of automatically ribbing while arranging plural kinds of warps different in color, thickness, etc., in a desired order in a preparation process for intersecting warps and a weft to weave a woven fabric and a method capable of surely conducting ribbing such an apparatus. ;SOLUTION: This automatic rib removing apparatus comprises a reed moving means 1 for moving a reed 11 having at least one hook part forward and backward in the width direction of yarn sheets S₁, S₂ and S₃ formed by warps W₁, W₂ and W₃ of plural kinds, a dividing rod moving means 2 for making plural dividing rods 21₁, 21₂ and 21₃ for dividing the yarn sheets S₁, S₂ and S₃ undergo two-dimensional movement in the vertical direction and the longer direction of the yarn sheets, a rib ribbon L inserting means 3 for inserting a rib ribbon L into an opening part H and a control means 4 for regulating the means.
