PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polycarbonate foam for lamination of a fiber-reinforced synthetic resin which is lightweight, has excellent heat insulating properties, and is suitable for adhesion to a fiber-reinforced synthetic resin, and to provide a fiber-reinforced synthetic resin composite comprising a fiber-reinforced syn thetic resin laminated onto the foam. ;SOLUTION: This polycarbonate foam for lamination of a fiber-reinforced synthetic resin has a density of not more than 400kg/m3 and comprises a surface layer which has been constructed so that the permeability of a styrene monomer is not more than 2.0g/cm2. The fiber-reinforced synthetic resin composite is prepd. by bringing a fiber-contg. uncured thermosetting resin into contact with the foam and curing the thermosetting resin.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
