PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent increase in the mounting area and the number of processes even when a piezoelectric transducer is reduced in size and height, simplify wiring of a lead wire and the structure, and reduce the cost, by connecting lead-out conductors to an input electrode and an output electrode, respectively, and covering the conductors and electrodes with an insulating sheet. ;SOLUTION: A plurality of inner conductors are provided inside of a piezoelectric ceramic rectangular plate 11, and a pair of outer electrodes 12a, 12b alternately electrically connected with an inner electrode are formed on both lateral surfaces of the long sides of the ceramic rectangular plate 11. In addition, an output electrode 13 is formed on an end surface of a short side of the ceramic rectangular plate 11, thus providing a piezoelectric transducer member. In this case, PZT ceramics is used for the piezoelectric ceramic rectangular plate, and the inner electrode is formed by integrally sintering Ag/Pb. The outer electrodes 12a, 12b are formed by printing Ag. Then, after lead-out leads 121a, 121b, 131 are connected to the input and output electrodes, respectively, the leads and electrodes are covered with an insulating sheet 18, thus providing a piezoelectric transducer element.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
