PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for mushroom bed culture used for culturing the fungi of shiitake mushroom or the like by the culture base material of sawdust or the like and a mushroom bed culture method using the container. SOLUTION: This container is provided with a box main body 1 and a lid film 2 and the box main body 1 is molded in a box shape opened at an upper part and enlarged toward the opening part by plastic and is provided with a flange 1A on the peripheral edge of the opening part. The lid film 2 is adhered to the upper opening part of the box main body 1 and closes the opening part in an air permeable state.
