TRAINING INSTRUMENT FOR JAPANESE FENCING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To practice a facer, striking on the forearm and the trunk foot sweep, which are basic acts of Japanese fencing by oneself. ;SOLUTION: In a training instrument for Japanese fencing so constructed that an expansible support 4 is erected on a base 4a, and projecting rods 5a, 5b to be hit are turnably provided on the support 4 in such a manner as to be extended in the horizontal direction, plural projecting rods 5a, 5b to be hit are extended in the same horizontal direction on the vertical direction of one expansible support 4, and a mechanism for returning after being hit is connected to one end part to freely turn the rods. The returning mechanism comprises a hydraulic damper, a buffer mechanism having a built-in spiral spring, and a weight.
