REINFORCING METHOD OF EXISTING PILE BY FORCE-FIT OF OUTER WINDING STEEL PIPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method reinforced by making force-fit of an outer winding steel pipe into the ground to the circumference of the existing pile with ground leveling work without excavating the peripheral ground up to the depth necessary for reforcing the existing pile. ;SOLUTION: By this reinforcing method of the existing pile, the ground is excavated to form a working space necessary for exposing a pile head section 2a of the existing pile 2, and an outer winding steel pile unit 3 is wound on the circumference of the pile head section 2a with the same working spece. The force-fit of the outer winding steel pipe unit 3 into the ground 6 along the existing pipe 2 is made with a force-fit device 5 installed the lower bottom of a footing 1a of a structure. The next upper outer winding steel pile unit 3 is wound on the circumference of the pile head section 2a, it is connected to a lower outer winding steel pipe unit 3, and the force-fit of the next upper outer winding steel pipe unit 3 into the ground 6 is made with the force-fit device 5. The work is repeatedly executed, objective area to be reinforced of the existing pile 2 is wound with the outer winding steel pipe. A space between the existing pile 2 and outer winding steel pipe is filled with filler to backfill the working space.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
