PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject apparatus designed to easily, joyfully and entirely harvest persimmon fruits of high nutritive value by anyone through operation on the ground without using any electricity in the harvesting season so as to contribute to improving the dietary life. ;SOLUTION: This harvesting apparatus is so designed that a switch is set up at such a position as to allow a persimmon fruit to come into contact therewith, or at such a position as to allow a twig bearing persimmon fruit(s) to be cut down through rotation of a rotary edge when the switch is set in motion. For obtaining mechanical power, a wind-up mechanism is used, and a rotary edge rotates automatically when a persimmon fruit comes into contact with the switch, cutting down twigs each bearing persimmon fruit(s); the persimmon fruits cut down can be easily collected at a single place through a pipe. Furthermore, when the persimmon fruits fall through the inside of the pipe, even if the speed of the fruits increases, they are reduced in speed and allowed to gradually fall because the pipe located on one side of this apparatus is bent left and right.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
